Speaker Fecteau Renews Call for the Resignation of Representative Randall Hall

AUGUSTA – Speaker of the House Ryan D. Fecteau (D-Biddeford) today renewed his request for the resignation of Representative Randall Hall (R-Wilton).

Speaker Fecteau previously requested Representative Hall’s resignation in February 2025, following his indictment.

Today, Representative Hall pleaded guilty to unsworn falsification and criminal violation of the Clean Election law.

Speaker Fecteau sent a letter to Representative Hall this afternoon requesting his resignation (see below), and issued the following statement:

“I have once again asked Representative Hall to resign from the legislature. Pleading guilty to violating election laws betrays the public trust. Plain and simple.

If Representative Hall does not resign, I will refer this matter to the House Ethics Committee, which will convene in earnest to determine its recommendation to the full House.”
